Kareem joined Orange in March 2017, as a Grants and Partnership Director. Kareem has more than seven years of experience in both the non-governmental and education sectors. As part of Kareem’s tasks is communication with partners’ and lead partnerships’ development, track and report on new funding opportunities with Syrian NGOs, INGOs and relevant stakeholders, conduct capacity assessments, develop performance improvement plans, and support the integration of more responsive systems, tools, or protocols, and develop and maintain grants management tools. Prior to joining Orange, Kareem worked with International Medical Corps as a Grants and Reporting Manager supporting the development of concept notes, full proposals, modification requests, and grant related documentations and coordinate with sub-grantees at the field level to support coordination of activities, quality reporting, and capacity building. In 2014, Kareem started his NGO career as a Programme Officer with Concern Worldwide, leading the implementation of Concern’s activities in southern Turkey. Before 2014, Kareem worked in the education sector with several public and private institutions in Deir Ezzor governorate, Syria.
