Baraa has 8 years of experience in humanitarian aid, with the last three years spent leading capacity building and training programs of several Syrian NGOs. His list of clients includes major international organizations.
His key areas of expertise are executive organizational capacity development, training, process restructuring, organizational planning, strategic partnerships and performance optimization. In addition, Baraa has been an active board member of several nonprofit organizations around the world. Baraa believes in the significance of contributing to civil society and non-for-profit institutions and thus is an active member of various international NGO’s.
Prior to joining Orange, Baraa was the Chairman of Syan and board member of Watan organization. Baraa also was the Offices Director in Watan, managing over 20 offices around the world with more than 75 working teams and 500 volunteers initiating numerous philanthropic activities for the good of the Syrian nation. With a faith in the potential power of building the capacities of any nation in transforming its life & its international engagement, Baraa spares no effort to activate the role of Orange nationally and internationally. He was awarded his MBA by Yarmouk University, Jordan with merit in 2002 and he is a graduate of the Business Administration College of King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia.
